Howden is an international insurance company with many arms and legs - including DUAL, the group's underwriting business. I was lead copywriter for DUAL's global rebrand.
It was a major undertaking - from shaping the tone of voice and rewriting brand guidelines to overhauling corporate brochures and educating disparate marketing teams. It was a delicate task too. DUAL and Howden were to come together as 'twin' brands, but with nuanced differences where underwriting and broking don't align. Turns out that over-twinning insurance brands can be risky business.
